DM Setter

Remote | Full-Time (growth role)

About BroadsCOACH

BroadsCOACH is a high-touch, strength-first coaching program built specifically for women who want to become stronger, more capable, more confident, and healthier for the long haul — without the extremes of traditional fitness culture.

We don’t simply deliver workouts.

Our coaches provide individualized strength and mobility programming, accountability, form feedback, education, nutrition support, and real human coaching that fits into our clients’ actual lives.

We believe in strong, not skinny; evidence over misinformation; high intention without extremes; and coaching women as intelligent, capable adults.

Our mission is to help women take up space, build strength, trust themselves, and create a relationship with fitness that lasts.

Position Summary

We are looking for a sharp, organized, genuinely curious DM Setter to own the front end of the Broads sales pipeline.

Your job is not to blast copy-and-paste messages and hope someone bites.

Your job is to start real conversations with women, figure out what they actually want, recognize who is a strong fit for Broads, and confidently lead the right women toward a Clarity Call they understand, value, and show up for.

You will be responsible for starting new conversations every day, responding fast to inbound leads, moving active conversations forward, qualifying prospects, booking Clarity Calls, following up without being pushy, and keeping the CRM so clean that leadership never has to ask you where a lead stands.

You are often the first real human someone talks to at Broads. How you show up in her DMs is how she experiences us: direct, curious, knowledgeable, supportive, and confident.

This is a full-time, remote role (40 hours/week, 8am–12pm and 4–8pm CST) with a base salary plus 5% commission on every client enrolled. It is designed to grow. For the right person, there is a clear path toward senior setter, closing, sales leadership, and other growth opportunities within Broads.

Key Responsibilities

Conversations & Pipeline

You will:

  • Start new conversations with qualified prospects every working day using approved Broads messaging.

  • Respond quickly to inbound leads and high-intent engagement.

  • Work active conversations first, then follow-ups, then new outreach.

  • Move conversations forward instead of letting them stall.

  • Build genuine conversations rather than interrogating leads or running a script at them.

  • Ask strong follow-up questions to understand what she wants, what she has already tried, and what is getting in her way.

  • Re-engage warm leads according to the Broads follow-up process.

Qualifying & Booking Clarity Calls

You will:

  • Qualify leads according to the Broads Lead Qualification SOP.

  • Determine whether Broads can legitimately help her — and know when not to book someone.

  • Recognize buying signals and act on them.

  • Confidently propose a Clarity Call when it makes sense, and explain why.

  • Follow up when the link is sent but the call isn’t booked.

  • Make sure booked prospects complete pre-call steps and know exactly what happens next.

  • Reduce avoidable cancellations and no-shows.

  • Hand off to the closer with real context: who she is, what she wants, why she reached out, and what’s in her way.

CRM Ownership

The CRM is part of the job, not admin work you get to later. If it isn’t in the CRM, it didn’t happen.

You will:

  • Update pipeline stages, tags, and call status as conversations happen.

  • Record meaningful notes and qualification information.

  • Document last contact and the next action for every active lead.

  • Create follow-up tasks so no one depends on your memory.

  • Identify stale leads and correct incomplete or inaccurate records.

  • Follow Broads naming, tagging, and pipeline conventions.

Leadership should be able to open the CRM at any time and understand exactly what’s happening in the pipeline without asking you to reconstruct it.

Team Contribution

You will:

  • Attend sales meetings, trainings, and performance reviews.

  • Submit conversations for review and coaching.

  • Bring stuck conversations to the team instead of spinning on them alone.

  • Flag patterns you’re seeing in objections, messaging, lead quality, or audience response.

  • Speak up immediately if something in the CRM, automations, booking process, or funnel looks broken.

  • Receive feedback without defensiveness and implement it quickly.

What We’re Looking For

You Are Sales-Minded

You understand that the goal of a conversation is movement. You can build rapport without chatting endlessly, ask direct questions without sounding robotic, and recognize when someone is ready for the next step.

You Give a Fuck About the Woman in the DMs

She is not a lead number. You pay attention, remember what she told you, and follow through on what you said you’d do.

High intention. Low attachment.

You Lead Without Pressure

We don’t convince women they have problems. We help women who already want something different decide whether Broads is the right next step.

You don’t chase, beg, manufacture urgency, or manipulate pain. You lead with confidence and tell the truth.

You Are an Excellent Written Communicator

You can sound like a real human in the DMs while keeping the Broads voice. Warm without being vague. Direct without being harsh. Confident without being salesy.

If you sound like a bot, it’s not working.

You Are Highly Organized

You can manage a high volume of simultaneous conversations without losing track of who needs what.

Follow-up cannot depend on your memory. It lives in the CRM.

You Are Proactive

You don’t wait for leadership to discover untouched leads, overdue follow-ups, or incomplete CRM records.

You see it. You communicate it. You handle it.

You Are Coachable

We don’t expect perfection.

We expect feedback to be implemented and your conversations to keep getting better.

You Are Metrics-Minded

You know your numbers. At any point, you can answer:

  • How many conversations am I managing?

  • How many qualified opportunities am I creating?

  • How many calls am I booking?

  • How many are actually holding?

  • Where is the pipeline getting stuck?

Sending a lot of DMs isn’t the same thing as creating opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in DM setting, appointment setting, inside sales, or another conversion-focused sales role.

  • Proven track record of booking qualified calls that actually show.

  • Daily working experience in a CRM (pipeline stages, tags, tasks, notes, reporting).

  • Excellent written communication, especially in short-form messaging and social DMs.

  • Fluency with Instagram and Facebook messaging.

  • Ability to work the full split schedule: 8am–12pm and 4–8pm CST, Monday through Friday.

  • Reliable internet and a quiet, distraction-free remote workspace.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience setting for a coaching, fitness, wellness, or other high-ticket online offer.

  • Experience working inside an established sales team with defined SOPs, scripts, and KPIs.

  • Experience being coached through conversation reviews or call reviews.

  • Personal interest in strength training and women’s health

  • Strong alignment with Broads’ mission, philosophy, voice, and values.

Key Attributes

  • Curiosity: You ask the next question instead of jumping to the pitch.

  • Confidence: You lead the conversation and propose next steps without apologizing for it.

  • Empathy: You meet women where they are and make them feel heard, not processed.

  • Organization: You keep a busy pipeline clean, current, and moving.

  • Resilience: Not every conversation converts. You stay steady, learn from the data, and keep going

  • Proactivity: You manage multiple priorities and take initiative without waiting to be told.

Benefits

  • Base pay plus 5% commission on every client you enroll (uncapped)

  • Growth path toward senior setter, closing, sales leadership

  • Growth potential within a fast-scaling brand

  • Supportive, collaborative team culture
