About BroadsCOACH
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Assistant Virtual Strength & Mobility Coach to join our expanding coaching team. This role involves direct client coaching, program design, accountability, and progress tracking, while also supporting sales and client acquisition efforts.
You will collaborate closely with Tara LaFerrara, Founder of Broads, and the Broads coaching team to deliver an exceptional client experience. For the right candidate, this role offers growth potential into leadership and coach management.
This position is ideal for a fitness professional with a background in personal training and nutrition who is ready to expand into the online coaching space with a proven, mission-driven brand.
Position Summary
Programming & Coaching
Design and deliver individualized strength and mobility programs tailored to client goals, fitness levels, and limitations.
Conduct weekly virtual check-ins to provide feedback, motivation, and accountability.
Perform video-based form assessments to ensure safe and effective execution of exercises.
Adjust programming as needed to drive consistent progress and client success.
Program Fulfillment
Manage client onboarding, initial assessments, and weekly program updates.
Maintain consistent communication with clients through the Broads App, ensuring timely responses (within 48 hours).
Track, measure, and report client milestones, progress, and engagement.
Strategy & Innovation
Collaborate with the coaching team to refine programming and incorporate best practices.
Contribute to content creation (educational resources, videos, or workshops) to enhance the client experience.
Participate in team discussions to improve program delivery and innovation in the virtual coaching space.
Client Acquisition & Retention
Support initial consultations with prospective clients to understand their needs and introduce BroadsCOACH services.
Assist with marketing efforts, community engagement, and client referrals.
Contribute to retention initiatives to ensure long-term client satisfaction and loyalty.
Key Responsibilities
Compensation
This role includes a base salary plus commission.
Certified Personal Trainer (NASM, NSCA, ACSM, ACE, or equivalent)
Nutrition certification (Precision Nutrition, ISSN, or equivalent)
Current CPR/AED certification
Minimum 2 years of in-person coaching experience
Minimum 1 year of online coaching experience
Demonstrated ability to program for strength, mobility, and corrective exercise
Minimum Qualifications
Advanced certifications (CSCS, CES, Women’s Health, Menopause coaching, etc.)
Degree in exercise science, kinesiology, or a related field
Content creation experience (videos, educational materials, social media)
Proven success with client transformations and retention
Strong alignment with Broads’ mission, brand voice, and values
