Meet Your Coaches
Tara LaFerrara
Tara LaFerrara, owner and founder of Broads, combines movement with fun. A former collegiate track athlete, she now trains women worldwide. She’s certified by NASM (CPT, CES) and is a 200-hour yoga teacher with additional certifications in kettlebells, mobility, and weightlifting. When she’s not focused on fitness, Tara loves traveling, eating, hanging with her dog, and pretending she knows how to dance.
Taylor McGee
Taylor McGee is a NASM-certified personal trainer and StrongFirst Elite instructor based in Philadelphia. A former dancer, she found her passion for fitness through weight lifting and kettlebells. Taylor helps women feel stronger and more capable, with certifications in Functional Strength and Conditioning, Pre- & Postnatal, and Precision Nutrition. Outside of training, she enjoys traveling, coffee shops, and DJing house music.
Programming is spectacular
Absolutely amazing! The programming is spectacular. I love being able to go to the gym without having to think about what exercises to do. I love that I can preview the workout each day, and it includes a mobility warmup and cool down. Loving everything about this app so far. Tara is very knowledgeable and encouraging. Focused on weight training
Love this app!!!! So easy to swap out exercises based on what equipment I have. Love how I can make notes and track progression easily for every exercise. Easy to use. Exercises are challenging and not cookie cutter. Tara has done an amazing job with this programming. Everything you need
The app has everything you need! Video instruction for every exercise, recommended sets/reps, notes, history and tracking to measure progression. There’s even an entire section for mobility practice. Tara really took her time and thought through everything. Her passion for true, enjoyable, and sustainable fitness shines in this app.

Great App!
I love this app! What’s great is is that it’s created for users at all fitness levels. It features the scalability for a user to switch between home and gym workouts, switch between 3 or 4 days a week, and swap out exercise moves for alternate options. I love that last feature the most because it enables you to perform moves based on your comfort or ability level.

Each week, you'll connect with your coach through the Broads app to discuss your progress, address any questions, and review your overall health and wellness journey. You can also share videos for form feedback and ask personalized questions related to your goals. These check-ins provide a supportive, non-judgmental space for you and your coach to work together toward your success.

Your workouts will be tailored specifically to your goals, experience level, and the equipment you have available. At BroadsCOACH, we focus on building strength and mobility, but we can also incorporate anything else you might need to reach your goals. Every workout is customized just for you.

Once you complete your consultation, we’ll match you with a coach who’s perfectly aligned with your goals and needs. If you have a coach in mind, you’re welcome to make a request. But trust us—the coach we choose will be the best fit for YOU!

We have coaches with nutrition certifications who can help guide you toward food freedom and fueling your body in a way that works for you. While we don’t focus on calorie counting or strict meal plans, we believe in providing you with the tools and support you need to feel empowered and confident in your nutrition journey.
